1 day to the Ride

This is the final day of preparation and it's going to be hectic. Final packing starts now that everything I'm taking has been laundered. I need to go to work for a few hours to tie up some loose ends and then it's back here to:
1. Start smoking the turkeys
2. Wash and wax the bike
3. Get everything ready for the parade and cook out tomorrow
4. Wait patiently for Ralph and Blue to arrive

Last message I saw from them indicated Blue was hitting the rack and Ralph was packing the truck getting ready to leave. My guess is they are on the road; Ralph is driving and Blue is sleeping. Somewhere around daylight Ralph will turn the reins over to Blue and he'll pull some sleep time. Good thing too, then he won't know that Blue drives on the wrong side of the road.

Next posts will be when they arrive.

UPDATE:
Ralph called at 0640 and they are in Knoxville where the temp is a cool 56F. Ralph is freezing; I told him it's 54F here in Michigan but we're expecting high 80's to low 90's by the time they get here. Expect them in by 1800

UPDATE # 2
The boys have just passed through Toledo, Ohio and are about two hours away. They are making good time. If they don't run into bad holiday traffic their 1800 arrival is looking good.
