This will be a year long chronicle of the planning for the ride of a lifetime for a few old veterans. It will include a daily journal and photos of the actual event in the words of the participants
This is just the general route we will follow and does not include specific stops. That will all be added later. Looks like we'll be traveling through 12 states (some of them twice). Once we depart on July 4, 2010 the blog will be updated on each of the stops with commentary and photos. WiFi and Picasa Photo albums are wonderful inventions.
Wow, we are stopping at Rockford Il, 7 miles from Kathy. Any reason you chose this location? I will be able to show you guys around! lol...how freaky is that! I just recently reconnected with Kathy, last week, so that has put a smile on my dial again. Where it goes from here I do not know as yet.
I am hoping to post pics on my Facebook page to keep the guys and family back home in touch with what I am doing. I am bringing my laptop with me, my camera, and my digital video camera to record this epic journey!
