32 days to the Ride

Thought I'd give you guys a little teaser today on the first of many wonderful sights we will experience. All us Michigan guys know this is "Big Mac" officially named the Mackinac Bridge (pronounced Mackinaw). At one time it was the worlds longest suspension bridge but I think it has been surpassed. It will be an interesting ride across it on July 4th; especially if it's a bit windy. It's a metal grate bridge so Ralph will have to stay close behind us and keep other cars from getting too close. I've been across a couple of metal grate decks and they can test your riding skills.
We can now officially say we're leaving for the trip "next month"

Ride safe,

  1. Yeah, the grates grab at a car. I always wondered how the bikers crossing felt, guess I'll find out. I wonder, other than the bears, wolves, coyotes and elk attacking Fred's bike if this is the only sphincter check?

  2. Ahhhh Jim, do you know what Fat chance means?? Hopefully, the wind won't be too bad on it either. Get a good grip and engage the pucker factor.
How many bikes can your trailer hold?
