4 days to the Ride

It's almost here and I can feel the breeze in my face even though I'm sitting in my office wondering how I can sneak out of here. Weather reports for the weekend look good and only Monday in the U.P. gives any indication of rain. But those long range forecasts have a way of changing so we'll just take what we get and keep on riding. If necessary, we can put Blue out as a lightning rod and have him far enough behind us so that the rain is at our backs.
All the other plans seem to be completed or well along the way so I'm following Ralph's advice and "relaxing".
My neighbors have all been put on alert that we will be having a bit of a "to do" on Saturday and have promised to not call the police if they hear the sounds of a digeridoo or see a strange man walking about looking for a stick.
The next few days will just be spent assembling and packing my gear; thinking of useless drivel to post and anxiously waiting for Friday night when Ralph and Blue pull in the drive and the fun begins. Looks like I'll be smoking the turkey on Friday so it will be all ready for us when we get back from the parade.

If you're still awake after reading this enjoy the day;
Ride safe,
