22 days to the Ride

We're going to get some good publicity out of this ride; not quite the "Cover of The Rolling Stone" but I'll take it.

Another teaser photo from Washington. This is the "New Dungeness Lighthouse" located up near Port Townsend on the Straits of Juan de Fuca

Plans contine to firm up while we're in the Seattle area. We will be riding/ferrying across Puget Sound to the Olympic Peninsula on Sunday, July 11th which will take us all the way up to Port Townsend. This will take us right through Port Ludlow where an infamous Bubblehead Electrician Chief of world renown (in his mind anyway) resides. It will also give us an opportunity to see mountains, ocean, and the submarines. Might even be able to have lunch at Horse and Cow. Stand by for more updates as the dates get closer. Not sure how we're going to do all this but it sure sounds like fun.
Ralph you got room in that truck for Stoops and Bob after we unload all the gear into the hotel?

  1. I'll have some tie-downs and a couple of binders so we should be able to lash them down some how.

  2. You could always wear some deer masks and strap them topside...

  3. About that magazine cover, I distinctly remember seeing one with a handsomer, more debonoir gentleman standing behind a rather wonderful looking metallic pearl bike with golden flames dancing in the sunlight. Although, the BIKE in the pic looks OK...

  5. Did any of "youse" guys notice that Stoops is now a member of the viewing audience? How long before he pings on one of us?

  8. I tripped over an ant, no wait- the waitress flashed me, ahh I've got it now. When the waitress flashed me, I put my foot down just as I heard the ant scream and when I moved my foot it slipped. Yeah, thats what happened.
