Snow in Michigan in front of my house
128 more days and this stuff in front of my house will all be a memory. Actually it better melt before that because once we start riding the only ice I want to see is in my glass at the end of the day. If you look closely at the photo you will notice it is still snowing. Why didn't it get all this out of the way while I was in Africa?
For all you southern boys (even you transplants) this is how real men spend the winter.

Actually, most real intelligent men are wintering where the snow aint. AND might I add riding their motor-sickles, which couldn't be traded for a pickle.... Cold here, I'll be wearing my leathers to Daytona.
ReplyDeleteawww gee Fred, I can hear the violins playing in the background :<)))
ReplyDeleteGot to admit it was 30f here this morning but right now at 0900 the sun is bright and going to upper 50's.
Of course Blue will ring in here and say it's a comfortable 100f in Perth today....just wait his turn is coming. :<)))
Now that the weekend has begun I actually enjoy the snow; I just don't like dodging the SUV's and F-150'S with 4WD drivers who think just because they can "GO" they can also "STOP".
ReplyDeleteI got thinking that I will take the same photo when the snow melts with my bike in the foreground and the pine tree in the background to give some perspective to just how high it is stacked up. We're getting another 4 inches today and the plows just came by and stacked up even higher. They're going to need front loaders if we get much more.
BTW; thanks Jim for calling me from "Bike Week" in Daytona. I needed that. Looking forward to the photos. Have a safe ride home
