This will be a year long chronicle of the planning for the ride of a lifetime for a few old veterans. It will include a daily journal and photos of the actual event in the words of the participants
This photo was taken in June on the first of the 300+ mile training rides. It was cold and windy on the road but here at the beach it was beautiful. The ride took us about 8 hours because we stopped for photo shoots and to look for a specific place up at the very tip of the Thumb in Michigan. We have a few more 300/400 mile rides planned before the big one next year
